Endometriosis and bowel problems

Hi I'm knew here and I am wondering if someone would know what a volvulius redundent colon is?
Its a little confusing as I have been diagnosed by a Gyne duing an laproscope to remove endometriosis and I am now waiting to see a colorectal consultant.
I've had Endo for about 16 years but I was only diagnosed in August 2008, when symptoms were getting really bad!
Since having that op I have gone for bad to worse. ( I have also been on 6 months of Zoladex and livial)
The pain has changed (a lot worse), I have had blood in my bowel movements, constipation and vomiting. I have seen a gastroenterologyst who has done a GI, a colonoscopy and a CT scan. He found I've got a hiatus hernia, I've had a duodinal ulcer and I have a cyst in my liver on top of the Endo ( I thought I was quite healthly until a year ago. LOL). Apparently none of these should cause the pain and probs I've got.
Gyne decided to go in again incase it was adhesions from the first op but didn't find any (removed more endo). He had a look at my bowel incase my endo was going into the bowel and he came across this redundant colon!
I can't understand why it wasn't picked up on CT scan or Endoscope.
Any help would be very much appreciated. I am really fed up of pain, appointments, op's and procedures and it is getting to the point where I can't see light at the end of the tunnel and am wondering if this pain is going to be for life.
Thank you for reading his even if you can't help.
I am wishing you all the best of health.

Thank you for your comment, I feel like I'm doing circles with being refered to consultants and then ending back at Gyne!! I got an appointment through this morning to see a colorectal specalist, One thing I'm happy about is that he has worked with my Gyne on endo bowel resections in the past.
Hopefully I'll get somewhere now.
Thank you again and it really has helped.

symptoms of vuvla redundent colon are, really bad abdominal pain, Nausea, Constipation and frequency of pain ( the pain level may vary), also a distended belly.

i would suspect that you have endo tissue either in or on your bowel,  ct scans and ultrasounds/ orendo scopes can not detect alot of stuff,,thats why many good doctors us a diagnostic laproscope surgery ( minor surgery)( technically removing a splinter is surgery) anyways a lap scope lets one see visually exactly what is present, and allows for a easy biopsy. Not even suggesting you need a biopsy. I strongly suspect your bowel/ endo is related and complicating each other.

when I had my hysterectomy my left ovary was engulfed in endometrial tissue and adheared to my bowel was causing some torsion ( twisting) resulting in some rectal bleeding...endo has gone as far as to a patients lungs (rare) it does strange odd things a troublesome condition...Best wishes,,,hope this helped just a bit,,,Cherie
