Foul Odor smell

I am almost 18, and I'm experience a strong foul fishy smell while I'm on my period. I'm still a virgin, so i know its not a STD, and the odor is so strong that when i'm on my period, other students around me smell it(they often point out a fishy foul smell, but i don't say anything about it). I think it may be a yeast infection, since I believe that I've been fighting a yeast infection, but no doctor has confirmed it because they refused to any other tests except a urine test, and they claim everything in my urine is fine except for some blood(which they said was because of my period, but I had my period about two weeks prior, and my period wasn't supposed to come for another week and a half). I do douche, usually during my period, and it started off every few days, then it became every other day, and now every day, and I still can't get the smell to go away. I am on the birth control patch(Orthoevera), which helps me with my periods because before I started it, I would have my periods every 2-3 months and it would last for about a week and a half, with very heavy bleeding, and the same smell. About a year or two ago I had an ultra sound done to see if I had an Ovarian cyst, since they tend to run through my family, and it turned out I didn't. I don't use tampons, and when I'm at school, I change my pad every 3-4 hours(before school starts, during lunch and when I get home) even though they are no where being full, I still change them, and when I'm at home, I usually change it about 6-7 hours. I don't do any sports(except for the walk to the store), and I'm not obese.
Can someone please tell me what's going on?

I'm guessing bacterial vaginosos. I've had it and I had a strong fishy discharge. My cousin also had it and she was a virgin. Everyone could tell she was on her period because the smell was VERY strong. Go to the doctor and TELL THEM you believe you have it because most rarely test for it even though it is common. They usually prescribe antibiotics to clear it up. And STOP douching after it's cleared up. Douching makes you more prone to yeast infections and BV.
