Abnormal discharge

I've had those symptoms since on Saturday night (I also had sex during that day). It started with itching inside and then with this odor discharge and that looks like coyote cheese. It is very unusual. I have had before 3 weeks this white and sometimes clear discharge, with no odor. I do not know what do I have!! I am very worried! I have had unprotected sex (I know it is very unsafe but I'm allergic to condoms).
What do I have? Is it a yeast infection? Or a STD? I am worried!! I am waiting for a call back from my GYN. I do not have insurance and cannot afford for the moment to do all the exams.
Please help!!

Itching and cottage cheese discharge are the classic symptoms of a yeast infection.  A clinic can confirm the diagnosis, and as babygurly22 said, there are free or sliding scale clinics like Planned Parenthood that will take you without insurance and not cost an arm and a leg.  Or you could buy the monistat or whatever over the counter yeast infection treatment looks preferable, use as directed, and hope it gets better.  It's a little unclear when you had the clear discharge and when you had the cheesy discharge, but I'm assuming you're still itching.  All my yeast infections have actually come with ONLY itching, no cottage cheese, so this factor is not absolutely necessary for the diagnosis if you really, really itch (but if you haven't had it before, you should get it confirmed if at all possible).

Wear loose cotton panties and skirts or loose pants to allow airflow.  Yeast grow even better in damp, warm conditions.  And sex can cause a yeast infection, although you can get one just randomly too.

And yes, they make latex-free condoms.  They're made out of something called polyurethane.  Some female condoms are also polyurethane or nitrile, but you have to check the label.  Please go get some condoms, because it's so much safer to have them.

Hello ok so the clear, or white with no odor that u had 3 weeks ago or however u were describing it, thats normal, every woman has it. Thats ur cervical mucus which aids in helping you to get pregnant. Whats it is clear and eggwhite like thats means u are ovulating, the ideal time to get pregnant. When its white u are not fertile. As for the odor and cottage cheese like discharge that u are desribing now that could be a yeast infection or an std. If its a yeast infection you can have the cottage chesse like discharge or a very thick white or yellow discahrge, u can also have an odor and itching. This can be treated by iver the counter meds such as Monistat. They are small medicine filled capsules that u insert into the vagina for either 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days depending on which u buy. I find the 3 days works the best. If its and std it need to be treated with medication from the doc and the sooner the better as thatcan cause u alot of problems in the future such as not being able to have children.regardless of if u have insurance or not ur health comes 1st and especially if u are sexually active and NOT using protection for some reason u need to be tested. There are free clinics that u can get birth control from (planned parenthood) so there is no reason that u should be havihg unprotected sex unless in a seriously relationship with no stds or ready for a child. As for condoms if ur allergic to latex which is what most condoms are made out of, then dont use latex ones, they have latex free so once again no need to not be using them. Get to the doc n get some protection n good luck
