HCG level 3

My serum HCG level was a 3, could I be pregnant?  The doctor said anything under a 10, is considered negative. Also, when examined, the doc said my uterus felt large, but not large enough to be 2 months pregnant.  There was blood on her glove, but she stated it was to light pink to be my period coming on.

The doctor told me to wait another 3 weeks to test again.  I have missed two periods already and 3 weeks will make it 3 periods.  If my period doesn't come by then and test is still negative...they are going to run more tests.

As I understand it, any non-pg woman on any given day can receive a reading between 0-5, therefore 3 would be considered negative.

At 2 months pg, you would definitely have a level of much much much more than 3.

I hope you get some answers soon!

Thank you for the information, they didn't give me much at my appointment.  I guess it's the waiting game for another 3 weeks!

Your Dr. would not proscribe you anything to bring on your period.  I had a period that was 53 days late and dr. gave me provera to bring my period on so I could start trying again.
