HEAVY periods

I'm 3 years removed from child birth. First & only child. I was diagnosed with PPCM right after delivery & am still dealing with heart issues. I'm not currently on birth control. I'm having a period now that is the heaviest & longest period of my life. It's been going on for 7 days, with LOTS of bleeding & HUGE (quarter to golf ball size) clots. Does anyone else experience this during their periods? I've never been diagnosed with endometriosis & I'm not having any pain associated with it. Is this normal? I'm also on Coumadin (blood thinner) for my heart issues.
