Has anyone had a tingling feeling in clit/upper pubic region but no UTI?

Hello! I had a UTI about a month ago that went away after 3 rounds of antibiotics. I then developed an inflamed/itchy vagina that was diagnosed as a yeast infection and put on another round of antibiotics. My doctor prescribed desitin to put on the vagina to protect the irritation. The desitin was so painful and has left me with this tingling/persistent urge in clit/upper pubic region with an urge to urinate. My doctor has assured me that the UTI is gone. Has anyone experienced this?

Desperate for a cure. Thanks so much! Xoxo

Hm, your doctor's choice was strange for a yeast infection.  Just being honest with that.  Yeast infections are common when you take antibiotics because the antibiotic kills off all bacteria, good and bad. And women then get a shift in their vaginal PH and yeast starts to grow and grow.  And we all know yeast infections can be super SUPER annoying!  As if the UTI wasn't bad enough, right?  Anyway, usually a product like Diflucan (which is a tablet your doctor would prescribe) will be given or you can to the drug store and get Monostat (I like the one day ovule, you put it in before bed, wear a pad for the next day and by that next night, I've always had a clearing of the yeast infection!).  If it were me, I'd go get the monostat and try it tonight!  And you can also get some vagisil wipes which soothes the area.  It's made for fungal things.  Desitin is diaper rash ointment.  Sigh.  I wouldn't put it on anymore, treat that yeast, use the vagisil wipes or if you can't find that, witch hazel works too.  Let it kind of rest.  And also, after you treat the yeast infection, sleep without your panties for a night or two to air out. Sounds weird, but it helps.  And cut down on sugar and try adding a probiotic into your routine (either the pill or they make smoothies or yogurt that are probiotic products that taste really good!)  good luck
