Help- Unknown Source of Vaginal Itching

I am 16 years old and have never had sex before. Starting two days ago my vagina began itching severely. There is little to no discharge- what has come out however has been somewhat thick, and a yellowish white. When I take a bath the whole inside takes a sandpaper-like texture and feels very rough. I do not smoke or do any drugs. I have no previous medical history and take no medications. My vagina in the past day has become very swollen and sensitive. I don't douche and the small amount of discharge is odorless. The itch is on the inside. The only way I've been treating this is with oil. I have searched everywhere online and haven't found any matching symptoms. I will be telling my mother about the situation today. The only reason I'm really worried is because I have no clue what is going on.

Many oils or bath soaps can make you itch! Go see your doctor if your worried but as you havent been sexualy active there shouldnt really be an issue! Your vagina is a self cleaner and it sounds as if its doing its job but you can help by not using tampon for a while and bath with out using soaps or oils … this should help to cease everything xx

Sounds like some kinda reaction. Go see your Dr.

I don't think it's the oil, since this started before I started using it and it is an all natural coconut that I have used before without trouble. But it may be something like a soap or whatever irritating it like you are saying. Thank you for the suggestion, though I'm still not quite sure what is going on.

Yeast infection by the sounds of it. Get a doctor to do a swab.
