Help pls... Menses not stopping for past 20 days

Hello,
My menses started on 17th of Oct and are still continuing.

My USG report shows below findings:

Uterus:

Is anteverted, relatively bulky (for the age of patient) & measures 8.9*4.8*5.4 cm.

It reveals hetrogenous echotexture.
No evidence of any gross focal lesion.
a small amount of fluid collection is seen in the endometrial cavity at the fundus, measuring approx 1.2*0.4 cm

what does this mean?

is there a reason for worry?
both ovaries are normal in size and shape as per report

Update 2:

Showed my report to my Gyanec.
As per her the endometrium thickness is not mentioned on the report.
But she is suggesting to get the uterus removed.
I am tensed a lot.
Please someone help me in understanding what needs to be done

Update 3:
got another sonography done which showed everything normal.
no problem with the uterus

Doc has now prescribed med for 3 days to stop the flow and will perform a curitine if blood flow does not stop

However, am not sure how can reports done on two days be so different. These were done at different places

Hi,
No fibroids were diagnosed.
Even the endometrium layer was only 7mm in the 2nd sonography report.

the reason I am worried now is how can a report be completely opposite in just one day,,,

I am 35 yrs old.. Have one kid aged 9 yrs.

Hi there. Since you are working with your doctor, that is the best thing.  You've got your doctor treating you to get this irregular bleeding under control.  Are they looking at causes?  I'm sure they are.  Fibroids and hormonal issues are common reasons for bleeding like this.  I would absolutely get a second opinion before allowing the to do a hysterectomy.  Or do you mean ablasion?  A hysterectomy is a big deal and not to be taken lightly.  How old are you?
