Holding erection

My boyfriend cannot hold an erection when we have sex- he has never ejaculated from intercourse, but has when I go down on him. I was his first, and he knows that I have had lots of sex, so I am thinking that he may be scared of failing or feels pressured to do well. I am on birth control pills and we don't use condoms- I know I am good in bed, and I am attractive- so I don't think it has to do with me. How do I bring up this issue with him without making him more self conscious and perpetuating the problem? I really like him and care about him, but Im not willing to deal with this for a long time in a serious relationship!

its sounds like you have lots of confidence..where as your b/f dosent..remember you are his first proper sexual experience....its very daunting for him... he wont want to mess up esp knowing that you have prev sexual exp..his sexual exp will be that of doing it himself...its all very new to him...patience is the key if you really like him and care for him..assure him that your not after a lover that goes like a race horse...you cud try start with oral then penerterative sex..swap in intervals..maybe this will help him to keep an erection longer..as your changing evry 10 mins or so..
