I don't get it!

So I really thought I was pg last cycle (and there was definitely a huge possibility!) but I ended up getting my period right on time.  *sigh*

But I'm having some strange symtpoms now and don't understand what's going on.  I'm only CD 8 and having pain in my lower left abdomen.  (Feels like ovulatory pain, but I'm not near pvulation.)  The veins in my bbs haven't gone away since before AF either, and they always have by now.  Also get a very strange feeling in my bbs--right behind the nipple like they're being pinched.  HUGE appetite for the past week as well--also normally decreases after AF leaves.

Any ideas on what's going on?

I've heard it feels different, but that's hard to decipher when my symptoms HAVE bee different my past two cycles.  I've experienced all sorts of different things I've never experienced before, and boy is it frustrating!  I know it will happen when it's supposed to happen though, so I'm not going to keep as close of tabs on things this month as I did last time.  And definitely no buying HPTs until I'm officially late!  It's just too hard and gives me way too much to obsess over!

Before I got pregnant with my first child, I always thought I was pregnant and everyone said it was because I kept worring and thinking about it so my body was reacting to the stress I put onto myself. I was on the Depo shot and got pregnant and everyone said your not pregnant, it is just the shot. But 23 months later I have a beautiful baby boy that is going to be 2 in Sept. I also got a little girl who is 3 months old. It feels nothing like them fake feelings, you know your pregnant when you get pregnant. It feels so much different.

Yep, it sounds like you're gearing up for the next cycle!! I hope you get that BFP! I charted too and that helped  A LOT! It did give me something else to obsess over too... lol... It's fun though... Chart!! It's good

thanks for the comments, guys!

My period was pretty typical heavy-ish flow.  The only difference was that I had a lot of spotting afterward, for SEVERAL days.  It definitely couldn't have been implantation bleeding, so I don't think I coudld be pg.

Hopefully I'mgearing up for a really great cycle though and we'll catch that little eggy!! :)

I have been on fertilityfriend, but it doesn't help very much unles you are charting.  I was going to start this month, but things were just too crazy at the beginning of the week and my schedule is about to change drastically when I start work next week.  I also know that if I'm temping, it will just give me one more thing to totally obsess over, and I really don't need any help in that area!!  lol:)  If we don't get our BFP this cycle, I'll probably start charting because I know it's important to have that info if we do have trouble TTC.

Thanks again, ladies! :)

Just as a thought, the period that you had on time was it like all your other periods? Without trying to get ur hopes up, some women do have what they think is a period. The only other thing I can think of is the above post is right and its left over hormones, or the hormones are ready for this time round. Maybe just watch it and wait til ur next period. Ul be TTC in that time anyway and if u really are pregnant now ul know by next period, and if not u may get pregnant this time!

Good luck!

Sounds like you had a really good ovulatory cycle last cycle, because even though you didn't end up pregnant this time it sounds like your hormones were very strong and doing what they should.

Sometimes the estrogen drop at the begining of a cycle produces those symptoms... And the pain you're feeling could very well be an egg getting ready to grow... I remember feeling that at around CD 9/10 and then it would give me little twinges off and on....

Have you tried going to www.fertilityfriend.com I cannot tell you how AWESOME that site is and the message boards are great. They have a free feature of the site as well as paid... ( i think it's 45 dollars one time for a lifetime subscription)

Anyway, I hate the symptom watching of TTC but it is so hard to not think of every symptom being a pregnancy symptom.
