I have a lump

I have a lump on the skin next to my vagina
it's not actually in/on my vagina but on the normal skin next to it
It's not a hard lump and i've had it for a while
It comes up and goes away every so often
the first time it came up i thought it was a spot so i just kept it clean and left it
the only thing is, what i thought was the "head" of the spot was actually (on closer inspection) seemingly, like, something coming out of a small hole in the skin, it was extremely sensitive
it goes away, and hasnt been as bad since
but theres still a lump now
helllppp???

What makes you feel like your inside's are feeling like they may come out after having sex. I'm 54 and I also have a large lump in side my Virginia! What could  it be. I have not had a exam for 5 years now.

the last few weeks i get 1 or 2 very small lumps near the vagina, looks almost like a pimple just no white head, the first time i noticed it i thought it was a pimple so i squeezed it, what came out was something hard and almost seethrough. Thinking it was nothing i now have 2 lumps. I squeezed that one and something bigger came out, it looked as if it had evolved almost or even grown longer, it was almost the same shape as tadpole but clear and some what round. I have been worried and not sexually active. Im going to see the doctor tomorrow, and will post my results. If anyone has had something similar please reply as im very worried.

I have something that sounds the same, and my doctor said that mine was a little cyst.  Maybe that's what yours is too.  My doctor said that if mine was bothering me I could have it excised, but otherwise that it's harmless.  Don't be worried about going to the doctor...it's no big deal! :)

Just say you have a lump, and point it out.  The doc will ask you anything he needs to know.

thankyou for responding!
Yeh i guess i will have to get used to it
i know it's an irrational fear, can't help it :]

do you have any idea what the lump could possibly be?

also, what would i say to the doctor? :S

i had enough trouble thinking of what to say when i was trying to get "the pill" pescribed due to irregular periods!!

thanks again

Don't be afraid to go to the doctor, hon.  You are going to need to go to them all your life.  Have the lump looked at, and do whatever they prescribe.  Good luck!

also, when it went away the first time it left a scar
and when it comes up now it doesn't have the "head" thing it had the first time.
i'm a virgin, but my boyfriend and i are close to having sex
i don't really want to tell him about it unless i need to
we are very open with each other, but i don't want to worry him.
or scare him away.
I just really would like to know any ideas on what it is
or people that have had the same and what they did?
should i go and see a doctor, i'd like to avoid this if possible as i have a fear of them...
silly i know
but if i need to go, i will.
thankyou!
