Irregular Period Help?

I'm seventeen, with an irregular period.
I'm a little confused about it. Since around March, it had become somewhat regular, coming around the same time each month. But now I haven't had my period since the middle of May, and today I checked and had a weird brown discharge on my underwear. I don't really know what this means. Within the past week, I've lost my virginity, but have been "sexually active" since around December, and I don't know if there would be any possibility to me being pregnant because of that.
I don't know if it's healthy to have weird brown discharge after months of not having a period.
I'm just really confused :/
I'm sorry if this post doesn't make much sense. I'd just like some feedback.

its always a good idea to take a pregnancy test if you're sexually active. however at your age its normal to have irregular periods. stress will also cause irregular periods. if you havent had your period for a couple months and are not pregnant and are now having a brown discharge it is most likely your period starting again. the reason it is brown is because it is old blood since you havent had your period for a while. totally normal. having recently lost your virginity can also delay your period because it is a shock to you system. i dont think you have anything to worry about. but please remember to use contraceptives. the birth control pill will also help to regulate your period

I agree completely with what Clysta had to say. To be sure speak to your mom or visit a doctor.

Anytime you have sex you run a risk of pregnancy. If it was unprotected it's an even higher risk, also coupled with a risk of STDs. Brown discharge is old blood and can happen at anytime, though would be more likely to come at the start or end of a period. I also have irregular periods, and while mine started to get slightly more predictable, I would also skip quite a few months randomly and for no reason. To check for pregnancy you would need to wait at least 2-4 weeks from the last time you had sexual intercourse and take a pregnancy test with first morning urine. If it shows negative, you could test again in a few days. There are many things beyond irregularity that can delay a period, including stress, diet change, rapid weight gain/loss, and if you're on birth control. Have you skipped months like this in the past? If so, it could just be that again.
