Irregular period after ovarian cyst removal or pregnancy?

Hi ladies. I’m 17 years old and had an ovarian cyst (and the cyst only luckily) removed on May 16th 2018. A week after my surgery i bled then it turned into my period. My period lasted May 29th to June 3 (meaning i only bled three days in june). it is now july and I am 6 days late on my period. I had intercourse June 24th (after my 6 weeks were over) we used protection. I’m starting to worry. could this be due to my surgery or could i be pregnant? Please respond. thank you ladies XOXO

I would guess this is actually pretty normal.  Your body has been through the trauma of surgery which is enough to make you late PLUS you had a cyst removed from your ovaries which means your hormones were likely affected as well.  So, it's not surprising you are late. You can always take a test but am guessing this is post surgical aftermath. good luck
