just wondering

Hi im a 38yr with a 18yr daughter ive just had a mirena  removed the other day after 3years i was just wondering how long do i have to wait for my periods to start and how long does it useally take to fall pregent after the mirena has been removed  thanks maree

thank yo u for the reply i got my periods on  24th December  and they are a normal flo but the period pain are so sharp  ill just have to wait and see how long they will last i must say its strange after 3year with no period or pain to get them all over them

Hi I had the marina for 4 years 1/2 and I never had a period within those years I had the marina removed on August 23, 2012 and my dr. Told me that I should have a period lk in two months or so and could start trying for a baby after three cycles well the thing was that I had the marina removed on August 23 well I waited two months lk my dr. Had said but nothing I didnt have no period so on October 23, 2012 I maid a appointment to see the dr I told them my situation and they told me to go ahead and come in the next day well I went to my appointment and my dr perscribed me with some pills called provera took two a day for five days well supposed to help ur period come.I waited about 12 days after my last pill and had my first cycle on November 8, 2012 Ive never been so happy to see my period.well my period lasted normal about six days well then then December came by and with out taking any medication or any thing I had my second cycle on December 13, 2012 I was worried that I wasn't going to start back up on its own but it did soo all u may neef is a lil bit of patient s that's what im going threw right now I hope this information helps now im ttc goodlgood luck to u and me as well and every one out there that is ttc <3

Hi London, I think you willfind your answer if you google mirena side effects,, But why? its putting your body under strain its proberly ok if your really healthy and in shape, but may take a time for your body to get back to normal.
