Hi. So, You've not yet had your period? Our body does have discharge quite naturally and it normally is fine and is supposed to happen. Our hormones balance that. As our hormones shift, our discharge consistency changes and it can become thinner, thicker, white or clear. And still be normal!
Yeast is usually accompanied by the most irritating symptom of itching. You could have a yeast infection and not itch but that would be rare. The discharge with yeast often is a bit thicker too and sometimes is clumpy.
Bacterial vaginitis is another type of issue. You would get this from something like your ph of your vagina being way off if you took antibiotics for example or if you douche (don't douche, not good for you, leads to yeast overgrowth and BV). The big symptom with this is smell, bad smell. The odor of the discharge is bad. Discharge may be thin and greyish in color. This is treated with antibiotics given by the doctor.
For some people, their normal discharge looks like water. Are you sexually active yet (with partners?)?
