Is this normal??? Please help!

I was diagnosed with Hemorrhoids about 1 year ago. I haven't had any bleeding in about 10 months. Then yesterday I noticed some bright red blood on the toilet paper after a bowel movement....but I felt no pain. Then about 3 hours later, I thought I had to go to the bathroom again, but nothing came out, and I did push a few times. I did not have a bowel movement at that time, but several drops of blood did come out and I was bleeding again. It was bright red blood again, but I am nervous because I didn't have a bowel movement. Now, today, I am very sore and it hurts when I cough and move too much. Does this sound like a normal Hemorrhoid issue? Please help! Thanks a lot!

Thanks SO much! I figured it was a hemorrhoid issue that I just have never experienced before. I am seeing my doctor on Thursday so I will mention this, but thanks so much for the peace of mind

Actually, it sounds totally like a normal hemorrhoid issue.  The hemorrhoid can be up inside the opening so it isn't seen, and it can bleed from there.  Check with your doc to be sure.
