I've never had spotting before, but now I am?

So, I am a 17 year old girl. I'm about 5' 7" and weigh around 135 pounds, so I am decently skinny. I do constantly exercise in a twice a week program in school as well as out of school activities like horseback riding. I have NEVER, EVER had regular periods. I would say since 2010 when I had my first one in that July, I've had no more than 25 periods. Maybe no more than 20, but I lost count and (sadly) never kept track like I promised myself I would. They usually have a very light first day, then get heavy for 4 or 5 days, then get lighter until the 7th or 8th day when it is completely gone.
I had a period last month, and then this past Saturday (October 22nd, 2016) I was out and about, and when I went to the bathroom after using a wipe, it was a little pink. I figured I'd caught my period VERY early, and when I got home put a pad on to sleep in, as it would typically be about medium heaviness overnight (especially when standing up, the flow is intense). There was nothing, so I changed the pad and put in a new one. Each time I checked it, it was dry and bare, and then the last time before bed around 9PM on October 23rd, there was about a golf-sized diameter spot where there was brown-ness. I changed, it went to bed, and assumed maybe NOW it would be a real flow. The next day was the same.
Last night, when I wiped, this time, there was hardly any brown and I could see the red blood color again and I hadn't been since that first night I caught it, and it was accompanied by a little cloudy discharge with it as well, but the cloudy discharge is very typical for me. It has been since I was (I'm going to shoot out a number) 12 or 13. I just know it started, and became a regular thing. Sometimes it's only a little and sometimes it's more, it varies (I don't know that my ovulation effects it, I haven't researched, and again, my periods are irregular so I can't track it along with them). But, I do know that having discharge of varying levels is typical for me as opposed to the dryer brown I had been experiencing.
I was up on my feet all day every day so it should have flowed like average. It is now Thursday the 27th and I had hardly any spotting the past two days. I have no cramps, not really much bloating either. I typically have constipation on a period, and I lack that as well.
But, because I am only 17 and have never had regular periods, I am wondering what could be up? But, in that same boat, I've never had a spotty period. Let me know what you guys think! Thanks in advance! If you have any more questions, I can answer those in case I forgot any details.

There's a lot of things that can cause spotting. Birth control, change in activity level, change in diet, change in weight. Most women experience spotting as some point. It's most likely nothing.
