Just getting an idea before an appointment

I have not had a period for 9 months, just spotting here and there. I have been to the doctors and they tested my blood and said that my hormones were very unbalanced. There are things that aren’t there that should be and there are hormones such as the breast milk hormone which are in my system and shouldn’t be. I have now been referred to the hospital and have an appointment with the hormone specialists soon. I’m abit nervous so was wondering what they could say and if anyone has had anything like this before? They have already ruled out pregancy and PCOS.

Thankyou

I had a hormonal imbalance.  Big pain and sorry you have this.  I also had an issue with my pituitary gland which made me have prolactemia.  I produced too much estrogen as well.  My thyroid was slow at this time.  In the states, we call the hormone doctor an endocrinologist.  :>)  It takes a long time to get in to see them so after necessary tests (including an MRI of my pituitary gland to see if there was a small, common, non dangerous tumor causing the breast discharge . . .which it wasn't) and blood work, etc.--  my hormones actually went back to normal without any intervention while I waited to see the endocrinologist.  Anyway, they will just try to figure out why your hormones were out of balance.  It is not scary and worth figuring out.  good luck
