LH/FSH Ratio

Hello,

I have a LH value of 2.8 iu/L and FSH value of 5.3 iu/L. I read on a couple of sites that a higher value of FSH is an indication of failing ovaries. The sample was taken on the 3rd day of my periods.
Iam 28 yrs old and planning to start a family soon. My periods are always delayed by 3-7 days and i suffer severe cramps during that time.
I am really really worried now and wish to get a clear and honest opinion on what could be the problem.

Looking forward to your replies and wishing good health to all.

a FSH of 5.3 is very good. They like to see anything under 10. Try not to worry!
