Is it ok to ask for the pictures and video of your Lap surgery? Has anyone requested this from you doc before?

I was asked if I wanted mine video taped, I said no, but she gave me the pictures. If your dr doesn't ask, then ask them.

My doctor gave showed me the photos when I went in for my post op appointment.  I am glad she didn't show them to me in the recovery room, because I don't remember much that she told me!  Definitely ask to see them, if you'd like.  They are yours.
