Late on the pill before break day and what i should do.

i have been on the pill yasmin for 6 months now and this is my first time bein late for 12 hrs. I usually take it 7pm but i took the last pill of my pack at 7am the next day of my schedule. I havent had any intercourse for the past week nor will i be planning to the week after that. I am not as concerned regarding my protection but wanted to ask about the action regarding what i should do with my next pack. I've read that i should skip my break week and start the new pack right away. However don't want to skip period week. So is it okay to continue and start the next pack after the break week? What is your advice? Thank you

Hi there.  When you say you have read this, do you mean on the package insert?  That's a good source of information (the material that came with your packs of pills).  The main issue is protection from pregnancy.  So, I'd use back up protection such as condoms for the next few weeks if sexually active if you don't follow the package instructions.  good luck
