Late periods

I'm 16 and my periods have been irregular since I started(when I was12) they can be nothing from a month to 6 months late, and no there is no chance I am pregnant, I've been to the doctors and all they did was send for me a blood test which came back as inconclusive and stuff, I was wandering if anyone knows what it could be? The periods I do get are also VERY heavy, I can leak through a super tampon in less than an hour, they are also VERY painful

Hello.  Sounds confusing.  While this is a big pain, truthfully, this is not unusual for your age range.  Some girls your age will take birth control pills to help with the irregularity.  but otherwise, this is what it is.  The heavy period filling a tampon every hour is not unusual during the heaviest part of a period.  If you're changing more often than that, that is more concerning.  Try ibuprofen for the pain.  Being a woman is a tough gig.  And just when some things get easier, a new challenge surfaces.  good times.  good luck

I've had painkillers, heat packs the lot, it's just doesn't work, I've been to the doctors about it and I got sent for a blood test, and then for scans, I'm still awaiting results, as they are still not sure what it could be,  but I was hoping for some indication as to what it could be
