Missed Period/ Menstrual Cramps

Was not sure which topic to place this under.  I am not pregnant- have done at home & blood work at lab but thought I would post under this topic.

I have had no period since May.  Have still had all the symptoms: bloating, pretty bad menstrual cramps, ovulation pain (the sharp pains in lower abdomen), and sometimes it feels like pressure in my vagina.  I have not been doing anything different.  I do not smoke, am not over/underweight.  I am 31 yrs old, 3 children.

Any ideas?

Have not been ckd by Dr.... she is out this wk.  If still having cramps and have not started then will call her again next wk.  What cervical problems could this be?

She had stated that I could stop my birth control & that my period might start.  I have not done that because I actually feel like I could start any day (but I felt that way 2 wks ago).  My thing is that my birth control has week of placebo & that should kick me into starting but it hasn't?!?

has your doc checked you for cervical issues to rule that out.  One of the first signs of cerival problems is your period stops.

I do. i'm 18 and haven't had a period for over 4 months. Sharp consistant pain in my lower stomach everyday. I have also went and had blood tests done and a pregnancy test. I believe its been going on for more than 4 years but I didn't exactly pinpoint the problem until now. So I know what youre going through Rmommy
