Multiple periods in one month and nothing the next...

I have been off of the depo shot for over a year now (about 14 months)  I have 2 to 3 periods a month and then some months nothing. My last one started on March 31st and ended on April 9th and started again on the 12th and going strong...again!!  There is no spotting... its a full flowing period; cramps and all.  Is this normal?  Or is there something else going on?  If it helps to know i have Autoimmune hepatitis and lupus.  If you have any insight please help... i would appreciate it.

Oh god when I got depo shots I had my period for the first 2.5 months continually, I was so tired and sick of paying out for menstral stuff, I refused the 3rd shot.. after a month or so my periods came back monthly but never the same time and now 6 yrs later I still have odd periods...Should never have gotten the shots...

OMG...Sounds like me...8 years on depo....
And I have been off now for 14 months.
I am officially 67 days late for af.
I have however spot brown twice in a few weeks.
The dr. wants to blame it on the shot...but I was alot more regular since getting off...why this now?
Dr. says it could stay in your system for up to 18 months...
Good luck...I know how annoying this can be.
