My Uterine Biopsy results--am confused?

I have PCOS and abnormal bleeding.

My results are: Disordered proliferative endometrium with stromal break down and tubal metaplasia.

What's that mean?

It drives me nuts when doctors give these reports and don't explain it.  I'm hoping your doctor has a meeting set with you to go over it all.  Disordered proliferative endometrium means you had an anovulatory cycle (no ovulation).  High estrogen, low progesterone levels.  stromal refers to cells of the organ such as uturus, ovarynot sure what break down means though. Tubal metaplasia I have read is common and not a concern.  Now, I'm not a doctor!  /so, that's the best person to speak to for what this all means.  Why did you have the biopsy?
