My fiancé had a vasectomy, and my period is late...

My fiancé and I have been together for over 2 years and we have NEVER used protection. He had a vasectomy 3 years ago, but never got the follow-up testing to see if it was successful or not. My period is 13 days late today, I've been constipated, bloated, heightened/altered sense of smell, mild uterine cramping, vivid dreams, and mood swings. I took 2 pregnancy tests and both were negative. What do you think? Could I be pregnant? What should I do?

Hi.  Most likely your period is just late.  This can happen from time to time.  Common reasons include stress, changes in routine, illness, weight gain or loss or just your hormones acting strangely for a cycle or two for no known reason.  It happens from time to time to most women.  I'd trust the pregnancy tests and be on the look out for your period to start as the symptoms you describe are also that of PMS.  Don't think you are pregnant, so rest easy.  good luck (and your boyfriend could still have the testing done to see if the surgery worked--  which usually does).
