My labia are swollen and they itch/hurt?

First some bacground information: about 6 weeks ago I had sex for the frst time, and it was without any protection, and i took a morning after pill. I haven't had sex since.
Last week I had my period, and in finished about 2 days ago. That same night my Labia/Vulva were really itchy, but I tought that it was just because of hair ingrowth or something similar. Now it still really really itches and the labia are red and swollen, and there is a really small ammount of some pimples at the end of my labia, towards the anus.
I am planning to go to the gynecologist as soon as possible (also because I've never been), but for now, what could I do to stop the itching? And what could be a possible cause of this rash?

It could possibly be a yeast infection, but that wouldn't explain the pimples. . .I hate to say it, but it sounds more like a sexually transmitted disease.

You definitely need to get to a doctor. . .
