My period is REALLY late!!

I'm 13 and I have had 3 periods before. I know that teens periods aren't always "on track" but mine is 50 days late!! I'm starting to get worried!! I don't have any signs of starting my period. I have never been sexually active and I'm still a virgin. I'm very active and right now I'm eating REALLY healthy. It's not a diet but my way of eating now. Could my eating be the cause of my period being late? Do I need to see a doctor? Any responses are helpful! Thanks!

Its perfectly okay and normal at your age for your body not to have a normal cycle especially if you are an active person.  It could be a while before you're truly every 'regular'.

You're okay!

that is completely normal to be late when your body is getting used to the period thing! Its part of growing up, stop stressing over it and more you stress the later it becomes, just take it one day at a time, if its really late see your doctor and maybe start on birth control pills and maybe that can regulate your period, when I was your age, I had to go on birth control to regulate my period.  For now just keep your eye out and if Aunt Flow doesnt show up by next month go and get looked at and try birth control to regulate your period and make your body have normal cycles and continue doing so for a year and then might regulate your body.  Took from 4th grade to 12th grade to normalize my periods, since then I have been good, regular and ovulating fine.

At 13 it's perfectly normal. I know myself and many of my friends at your age could go months between periods. It will regulate itself over time. If you're still worried, go to your gp; whatever you tell them is confidential and they'll give you reassurance. Worry, stress etc can all cause it to be late.

Try to eat healthy or go on a healthy diet and if that doesn't work go to the doctor and sometimes when your a teen it might skip once .
