How long should it take for a one-time yeast infection pill to start working?

I developed a pretty bad yeast infection because of my birth control. It's extremely painful. The nurse at urgent Care prescribed me a one-time pill that I took this morning. Does anyone know how long it should take this thing to start helping?

You should feel better very soon---  That one day pill is pretty effective.  It's now a couple days since you posted this.  Has the yeast infection cleared up?  I find that taking probiotics really helps.  I take the supplement but some drink the yogurt drinks enhanced with it.  Also, airing out occasionally can help like sleeping without underwear.

How is it now? Better?
