Need help

Hi,

Am worried abt my wife during her tests found TSH ultrasensitive - 7.268 uIU/mL, haemoglobin 10.80 g/dl, Cyst of size 4.7x3.2 cm at left ovary & a calculus of size 4.2mm is also seen at mid ole of left kidney.


Am realy concern about my wife & for my first baby (7 weeks), please help me.

Thanks alot for your reply, feeling gud know also i need your advise is there any exercise or yoga which wil help to reduce the thyroid problem or normal house work will effect any cause in this period of time.

seems like your wife is asymptomatic otherwise and all of the above are chance findings.... If that is so the most important is the TSH result at this stage of pregnancy. Go to an endocrinologist he/she will check freeT3and freeT4 levels of your wife blood and if there is any deficiency then your wife will be started on a medicine that your wife MUST take regularly along with the REGULAR follow up as advised by your Dr.This has no harmful effect on your bay IF adequately treated. Second comes the ovarian cyst, again if no symptoms no treatment required it is a small cyst just needing ultrasound surveillance 4-6 weekly and will most probably disappear on its own. Third is the kidney stone, again if your wife is pain free no treatment indicated just instruct her to drink a lot of water but she must have a review with the urologist to check her kidney functions and to rule out any obstruction. I hope u feel better now .All these are pretty common problems and luckily not the dangerous ones. Best wishes.
