New Thermometer or Use Same One?

I posted yesterday a question about my cycle being anovulatory or ovulatory. I started thinking that maybe I should use a newer thermometer to chart my temps because the one I'm using may not be accurate. I currently use a digital thermometer under my tongue in the same place every morning. I have a newer one here at home that I haven't been using for charting my temperature. So, I decided to take my temp this morning with both just to see if they would be the same reading. The newer one was 0.3 lower than the one I am currently using for charting. Should I stick with same thermometer or use the newer one? Thanks!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Two instruments may not be alike and may have standard error of deviation. You should get your temperature checked from a doctor and then check with both the thermometers at home. The  one with the closest reading should be used.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
