Nine Weeks late and negative hpts
I am nine weeks late for my period (haven't had one since May) and I've taken about 7 hpts that have all come back negative. I've been to the doctor and they did a urine test there and that came back negative. Is it possible that I still may be pregnant after all of this? I've got a blood test later next week, but I'm really concerned that if it isn't pregnancy then it's something else. (maybe something bad?) Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? I feel so stupid wondering, and I'd really like to go back to living as if I were not pregnant (can't drink, can't be around smoke, can't clean out the cat box, ect.....the hubby is not very consistent about getting it cleaned out) I'll take any advice I can get, no thanks to the doctors I've spoken with.
This happened to me. I missed my period and went to the doc to get a blood test. Every test came up negative. Then I missed my second period and I went to the doctor and I tested positive. I was already 9 weeks along when I finally found out for sure. It's something that you can just feel sometimes. If you think you're pregnant than it's very possible you might be.
you could be pregnant......or there could be something seriously wrong like overian cysts. the only way that u can find out for sure is to go to your gyn. I was 2 weeks late and went to the er with stomach pain and they checked me for ovarian cysts. symptoms of it is late or missed peroid, dizzyness or nausia, fullness or pain in lower abdomen, headaches, and frequent urination. I u have any of these symptoms and hpt keeps coming out neg than u should definately see ypur gyn and get tested...........Hope this helped u .
This JUST happened to me. I went off birth control, had two normal periods (28-30 days apart) and then no periods for nearly 11 weeks or so. Essentially I skipped two months and started on the third month when my period was due. I think it was because of the messed up hormones...but....i'm not sure. i tested neg on a gazillion hpt's and neg on a blood test and a few days alter my period started. soooo now it's the month next when my period is due and it's about four days late.
It could be an array of situations,,hormonal problems,,stress,,,,thyroid,,,pregnancy although if you have taken that many tests I would say your not,,but the blood test will confirm for sure,,the doc will also beable to let you know whats going on with your periods. Good luck
I have heard of some weird instances in which a person was pregnant but for some reason it didnt show up on hpt's but did on a blood test. But I think thats terribly rare and if i had to guess i;d say its probably stress or just your body having a weird cycle.
