No period in 4 months, not preg

Well, I haven't had a period since April 25 of this year. All of my pregnancy tests come out negative, even the one blood test I took with my primary physician. I went to a specialist and she prescribed me some medicine that will bring down my period but told me not to take them until I get another blood test with the results just to make sure I'm not pregnant. I haven't gone to get the bloodtest yet and It's been about 2 weeks since i've seen the doctor, I'm scared of what might be going on with me. I'm healthy and other than now, have never been late with my period. Has this happened to anyone b4? Have any advice, or think you might know what may be going on here?

I've had brown discharge before and looked it up on other websites.  It's natural.

Masturbation is not going to get you pregnant unless you masturbate with male ejaculate.  Sex is sex it's not self pleasure.  If you're missing your period talk to a doctor.  It may just be nervousness.  I was stressed the last few months and missed one and the second one was late.  I'm back to normal now.  If you're having problems and haven't had sex, then you're definite not pregnant.  You've not come in contact with a source of sperm and even if you masturbate in an area where the man is you're most likely not to get pregnant either.  Sperm does not live outside of the body for very long unless you preserve it through refrigeration.  As you say you've not been sexually active I'm pretty sure it's stress or hormones.  Only a doctor can tell you what you need to know.

Hi. I'm 16... I have not had my period in about 4 months. I don't think I'm pregnant since I have never had sex or interacted in any sexual acts. The only thing I have ever done - this is embarrassing - is masterbate. I usually would do it once or more a week, depending, and I haven't done that for almost a month.
ANYWAY!! I have been feeling super tired, hungry, and needing to pee a lot more than I usually do. I didn't think anything of it at first, until I looked at my calender in my room, where I mark my periods. I saw that I hadn't had one since about June. I still didn't think much of it (I have irregular periods) until I started noticing it was getting hard to loose weight. I was craving things that I usually don't crave. I was getting crankier. I was getting hot when it was cold and cold when it was hot.
I don't know what is going on, but it really is scaring me.
Should I contact my doctor? I don't want to make my grandpa (who I live with) or my parents think that I have been having sex by taking a pregnancy test that you buy and take at home, because they - well, at least my grandpa (I tell him everything.. including about my periods.. it sounds weird, but idk, we are just super close to where I can talk to him about everything) - know that I promised to myself that I wouldn't have sex until I was married and in love.
But yeah.. I don't know what to do. Should I contact my doctor? Do you think it's serious?

I'm 33 and I've read that periods can come in many colors ranging from red to a brownish color.  I've had those myself and they're just like normal periods.

Most of the girls on here are not even sexually active and freaking out.  They should really go to a doctor scared or not or do some research on webmd.  The girls with irregular periods should probably be put on a birth control pill to help regulate them.  I know that before I started the pill in 2010 my periods were painful messy, and irregular (sometimes).  Now my periods are almost like clockwork, have less discharge and less cramping.  My husband and I are not trying to have a baby, but missing part of a pack can be scary.

My question/concern:
I missed my first week pills of this month and missed my period last month, but thought I should continue with the pack I was on and take a test.  I took a pregnancy test about a week or  two after my missed period, but it was negative.  I'm waiting to see if this month will also be no period since I've never missed one completely.  I started getting my period around 9 so It's nothing new to me, but this is getting me worried that I should stop taking my pills in case I am pregnant.  My husband and I don't use any other form of contraceptive and we have sex constantly.

I am looking for help with another problem I have but I think I can help many of you with this problem.  After the birth of my third child, I didn't have a period for over 6 months.  I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian disease via ultrasound.  The doctor wanted to do surgery and put me on hormones.  I was young and scared to death.

I went to a natural medicine shop  and spoke to a little old lady about what was happening to me.  She gave me a small dropper bottle of an herbal tincture called FRESH SQUAW VINE.  I did as she told me to do, dropped (I think it was 20) drops into a small amount of warm water.  I drank it the first day and my period started the very next day.  Worth a shot.  I've been "normal" ever since and every doctor since then has told me there is no way that I ever had poly-cystic ovarian disease.  Worth a shot.  Good luck!
