NuvaRing advice...Please Help ;)

Hey there!!  Just need a little advise from some NuvaRing users.  I was previously on Ortho tri Cylen (using the generic) and my GYN wanted me to switch to the Nuva Ring.  I was told to start the NR on the day that I would start my 1st active pill.  This would have been on Tuesday.  I don't know how, but I got the days confussed and put it in on Wednesday instead.  Will this make a big difference?
For those of you who have responded to my previous posts. I still feel this burning sensation sometimes and it is obviously beyond annoying.  Although I have noticed that since I put the NR in it isn't bothering me all that much, but then again, it's only been like 2 days.  It also doesn't bother me as much when I don't sit down all the time.  At work I sit almost all day, but the other day I didn't and I felt fine...what could that mean?  I'm still taking the Acidophilus, Cranberry pills, and Candida Clear (from GNC)I really hope this will go away... can't afford another GYN appointment for her to tell me she doesn't know.
Thanks Again soooo much,

i dont think i ever actually had pain, as in sharp or cramping...however, i as dry more often than not, and was crazy mean 9 days out of 10...and i only actually used it for about 2 weeks or maybe 4, but i couldnt handle it, and as crazy as it sounds, it just wasnt worth the bs it caused me...fiance was scraping it with his penis, and would get a really red dry patch, but if i took it out, then we were both fine...however....i do not think it will make much of a difference by putting it in a day late...my obgyn said it took effect alot faster than oral controceptives did, b/c like the depo shot, it didnt have to travel anywhere, and it went directly where it needed to go...

Sorry about your pain! I do not like NR at all! After the birth of my son I was prescribed NR. At first I really liked it. But after a few days I started having horrible pelvic pain. I remained on it for several months before the pain was so bad I couldn't do it anymore. But it's been nearly a year and the pain is still there. Though it's not as bad as when I was on the BC. Something in the back of my mind makes me think it is related to the NR.
You should monitor your situation very carefully. That burning sensation isn't normal and a doctor needs to determine the cause. It may not even be related to the NR. But like I said before, I have a bad feeling about it. Good Luck!!! I hope you feel better soon!
