Ovarian and Dermoid cysts and how to get rid of them

I had a dermoid cyst removed a year ago but have since this time had recurrent functional cysts and now it looks like I have another dermoid cyst on the same ovary in the same place. I had a ultra sound 2 days ago. I get a lot of pain from this as well. What is the solution to this. I really do not want any more surgery or if needed it would have to be a last last resort.

Hi , I found I have 3 small dermoid cysts 6months ago. I now live in Tokyo where they most like to do things in a more natural way. My gynocologist is keeping an eye on them, I will go back at the end of this month.
I really would like some advice from some people in America and what they think is the best way to handle this. I really dont want to have surgery because I would like to have kids someday. I am only 25 and also have already had one surgery to remove a cyst. I hate cysts, I also have one in my breast. Is this normal?

Thanks, yes this helps, the more data I get the better for me I feel so I can make my decisions. I have to see the specialist in 2 weeks and he will probably want me to get surgery as the cyst I have is growing. If there is something that would stop them happening it would be good, I have already had a kid so this is not something that would be a situation right now. Thanks again. Are there any side effects from the drug you are taking other than what you mentioned?

I had sever ovarian cysts. I also had to have surgery due to the fact that my cysts would rupture and never drain. The put me on Depo Provera to stop my periods. I hadn't had cysts since then, but the down side to that is I can't get pregnant. So if they advise that weigh your options carefully. Hope this helps some.
