Is it unhealthy or "bad" to wear a maxi pad occasionally when NOT having my period?  Sometimes, I wear one "just because" want to. Is that unhealthy?  I have been doing this for a year or so without any issues.  I am 23  (female obviously) and a maxi pad wearer.

Well if you break them down, it equals less than 25 cents ea.  I just think sometimes they are (believe it or not) comfy.  I know, I am crazy!

It's fine.  

More a waste of money than anything else if you don't actually need them.

Liners might be a cheaper option.
