Pap Test

Is it true that if a woman has become sexually inactive, she should not have any more Pap Tests done? Someone told me that her doctor said that if she isn't sexually active, then it's no need to have it done anymore.

Thanks for picking mine as the "Best Answer," LOL
Not like you had much to choose from, but my answer IS totally correct and you can take that to the bank. Please keep having paps even if you're not sexually active. Cervical cancer doesn't care either way.
Be safe

Who does not need regular Pap tests?
The only women who do not need regular Pap tests are:

•Women over age 65 who have had 3 normal Pap tests in a row and no abnormal test results in the last 10 years, and have been told by their doctors that they don't need to be tested anymore.
•Women who do not have a cervix and are at low risk for cervical cancer. These women should speak to their doctor before stopping regular Pap tests.

Hope that clears up any confusion.
Peace
