Papsmear Question
Hi, Does anyone know if it is ok to get a pap smear the day after your period ends? Or will this interfere with the results since there may still be a trace of blood?
You can get a pap when you are done with your period. That shouldn't matter. Some obgyn doctors won't do a pap test if you are on your period unless it is very light.
My doctor wont perform pap smears if I'm on my period. I don't know if that means anything. I never asked.
There's no prob.to get after period.Many have it during period with many forms of b/c (IUD).I was told NOT to have a pap 2 days after SEX.Only b/c semen is forign to a womens body & will have an abnormal pap.That happened to me....nanis
nope won't hurt a thing. You can even get a papsmear during your cycle if you wanted to. Good Luck.
