Period for 4 weeks now

I've been on my period for four weeks now and I've had problems with it being regular in the past but this is the first time this happened to me and I'm concerned because it will not stop what so ever. I am 15 and started my period when I just turned 11. I want to know what is wrong with me. Any help?

I actually am losing weight. I have an eating disorder. And I'm scared to get checked. I am going to get the depo shot tho. Is that good?

A couple of things to check out

1. Have gyno chk for fibroids or polyps in uterus- they are very common and can cause prolonged bleeding
2. Any recent weight gain? Estrogen and adipose tissue do not like each other..try weight loss (5-10lbs)
3. Outside stressors?
4. Bleeding disorders? Von Willebrand is one
5. Ask about birth control-awesome at controlling bleeding
6. Do not worry, this is very common. Please talk to gynocologist
