Period for 7 weeks

Hi there. I have had my period for 7 weeks now. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to collapse. I have taken 3 home pregnancy tests and have all been negative.  Sometimes my period is heavy other times light.

Oh gosh!  I bet!!  Well, and especially if you have kids to care for.  I hope that you get in really soon to see the gynecologist and they can get to the bottom of this.  Sorry you're going through it.  Please come back and let us know what the doctor says, okay sweetie?  good luck

I have got the rod taken out on Saturday to see if that helps. I collapsed Friday night and then twice today. The dr sent me home saying wait and see what the gynaecologists says

Update:  I blacked out yesterday and my partner took me to the hospital. The doctors sent me home as I showed nothing unnormal in my blood tests, urine tests or blood pressure. I was told to get my dr to send me to a gynaecologist. I am often feeling dizzy, light headed and the room spins. Have been changing my pad every 2hours as that is how heavy it is.

ThAnkyou for all your help ladies. Hopefully get in soon. There isn't anything like this in my family so I don't know. When I got back from the doctors I was feeling dizzy again.

Only time I bled for that long was in April when I lost my baby. Hopefully they figure out what it is. Prayers to you

Just got home from the dr and she said that she has sent through a referral to see a gnecologist. Should get a call this week as to when I get in to see them is another thing. I'm feeling like crap and being a mum to two young boys is taking all my energy

I sincerely doubt pregnancy and was thinking more of a gynecological issue.  ??  Fibroids or hormonal issues can cause nonstop bleeding but most docs take heavy to moderate bleeding for 7 weeks as a very big deal.  Let me know what the doctor says!!

Oh my goodness.  This isn't good.  You REALLY need to go to the doctor.  You could have fibroids or a hormonal imbalance.  It is not healthy to bleed for that type of time frame.  You could become anemic.  PLEASE see a doctor asap. good luck
