Period or spotting?

So I had this brown discharge. Sorry for the TMI but I need answers :( I had it exactly a week after having protected sex. I had brown discharge for about 2 days. Then a day where nothing happened. Then I had very little brown discharge. It was really dark brown. Then I had dark red blood with blood clots then the next day brown discharge and the following day red blood like a period with more blood clots followed by brown discharge and the next day it all stopped. Not sure if it was spotting, period, or implantation bleeding. Please help!

@kindd that would make sense! I have irregular periods. I usually don't get my period for 2-3 months. It's always different. So it's kind of hard to keep track of what is going. I did ask my doctor about my irregular periods and she said it was normal and that I didn't need to regulate it.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Brown vaginal discharge is most often associated with old endometrial tissues. In other words, if your period is late you might get a brown, rather than red, discharge. It could also mean that for whatever reason during your last menses the entire uterine lining failed to make a timely exit. In some cases however there is cause for concern like  cervical cancer, pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), menopause, or sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea and  Chlamydia .You should consult a gynecologist who will physically examine the local area and may consider tests.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I hope it was just spotting. I fear it might've been implantation bleeding because my tummy feels a little firm.
