I had a tubal ligation with silicone rings or bands and now I have enometreosis. My tubes have grown over the rings and doc says it's due to endometreosis on my tubes and overies. He says pregnancy is very likely. A small chance of ectopic but he said with silicone rings it's normally a uterine pregnancy. He has seen pregnancy with silicone bands or rings what ever you want to call them.

google tubal ligation and you'll see that not only does it cause hormonal imbalance but it can cause endometriosis "tubal coglation which is the tubes being burned not just tied can be very dangerous.  I was 21 when I had mine done I never had such painful long periods. If I knew then what I know now I would have never done it.

I'm 28 now and it's like im always pmsing  and um no i didnt have  a period for the first 6 mths

i just had my tubes tied on the 15th of may.  mine were burned,  i had my period when i went in for surgery.  lucky me!  I still have "period-like" bleeding...hoping it will stop soon.  sorry i can't help you out too much.  i go to see my dr on the 31st of may.  i will ask her then!  did you have dissolving stitches?  is it ok to get them wet.  doctor was too busy to see me after surgery, and i was told by nurse it's ok to shower...but not sure if i should take bandages off first?
