i'm on the pill and I'm thinking of stopping it... I heard it has a lot of side effects.. I think it changes my mood a lot even with my boyfriend .. It makes me more sensitive to things... and I also heard it affects your sexual arousal .. But if I stop it I would be risking .. Any suggestions or experience?

yeah, I agree with specialmom, I had an alternative contrceptive in mind before coming off of the pill. You need to think about that before you do anything!

Well, I would think about this . . .   what is better----  a bit of a mood swing here and there OR an unplanned pregnancy.

I would not go off the pill unless you have talked to your doctor and have a alternate plan. There are also different kinds of pills.

I was on the pill with no side effects.  Talk to your doctor about your options.  good luck

I stopped my pill 7 months ago now after being on it for 6 years. I just felt I should give my body a rest! I didn't have any problems coming off of it, apart from my periods getting messed up whilst my body is sorting it's self out again! I'm now 17 days late and like I said, I've been off of it for 7 months and my body still isn't back to normal! So just be prepared for things to be a bit messed up or a while!!
