Please help! 16 and terrified and in pain

Can anyone give me any advice, I'm 16 and i get pains every few weeks in my uterus area near my hip bones, I've spoken to my parents but they said it was just pre period pain but I know it isnt cause im right in the middle between periods and its way more painful then any period pain ive ever had (the pain only started a few months ago) it is also very painful when I go to the bathroom at these times as its not all the time the pain will come and go for about 1-2 weeks I'm unsure what to do because I'm a shy and insecure person and my parents wont listen and ive spoken to them 3 times already and those were so hard to do for me, can anybody please help me??? I'm in a lot of pain and need help!!@

Look up ovarian cysts and ovulation, there is a German word mittelsmertz (I think that is at least close to the spelling) that describes it.

If it's midcycle I'd bet it's from ovulation. Ask your parents to take you to your doctor though if you are really concerned. It will help put your mind at ease.

It is fine it is because of the period
