Please help me...bacterial infection?

A few days ago i started to experience pressure down there around my vaginal opening around to my anal area.  It kind of feels like it is vaginal cramps and feels very uncomfortable. i also had a white thick discharge. Can this be from an bacteria infection?

Thank you. Also my vulva area feels uncomfortable. It feels as if I have cramps or just intense pressure. It seems as though the pressure has gone down a little but can this too be caused by a yeast infection? Also Ive heard that yeast infections can be caused by stress. Is this true? I have been stressed and also been experiencing anxiety  I will try over the counter treatment but will soon look into seeing a doctor.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These can be the symptoms of a yeast infection. For yeast infection, take some precautionary measures like avoid wearing tight fitting clothing like jeans and pantyhose and underwear made from synthetic fibres. Remove wet or damp bathing suits immediately after swimming, avoid douching, perfumed soaps, bubble baths and toiletries, change underwear daily, wash underwear in hot water (to destroy fungi) and double rinse (to remove any irritating detergent) and take adequate nutrition and sleep. Also use some antifungal pessaries like clotrimazole, miconazole or nystatin which are available over the counter. If still the symptoms persist then oral antifungals may be needed.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
