Post pregnancy question

I bled for three weeks after giving birth, I want to say around the 1st or 2nd of September I had finally stopped!

Today I started bleeding nothing heavy.

Is it normal to expect a period this soon?

@Ollie0105 I started my period right after finishing post partum bleeding too. I was also breastfeeding and totally ready to not have a period for a while, so I feel your pain!
@xojensen Just make sure to drink a lot and eat healthy and if you start to feel anemic talk with your doctor.

Could just be more bleeding, mine was on and off, like 3rd week nearly nothing, the heavy 4th week, then 5th week nothing then a little more in 6th week. Always had a little more bleeding in 7th or 8th week after we tried sex for the first time. I didn't get a period until 8 or 9 months later, so definitely wasn't my period, just irregular post partum bleeding. Could be your period returning, but definitely not guaranteed at this stage.

Yes it's normal. The 1st bleeding is from the delivery n ur system cleaning itself. It's not just ur period. Now the 2nd it's ur period getting back into rotation. But it takes time to get back into routine. Slowly it will get back on track.

It can be or it could be more post partum bleeding as some people stop and start.

When I gave birth I bleed for 3 weeks then a week later started bleeding again and every 28 days following. I was devastated  as I was fully breastfeeding and you hear of all these women who breastfeed and don't have to worry about a period for ages, but instead mine seemed to become more regular then ever
