Pregnancy after miscarraige

Hello All! I recently had my secon miscarriage in 5 months. The last one as recent as Oct 3rd. Since then my husband and I have still been having sex, as we were trying to be optimistic and hoping the bleeding was implantation. Well of course that was not the case. Can I get pregnant before I even get my next period?

so far i had been pregnant 3 times and i been married for 3 years. it took us 8 months to get pregnant with my daughter. the first pregnancy was going smoothly until i got a call from my doctor saying i might need to have level 2 ultrasound and amniocentsis since triple test was abnormal. thank goodness everything turned out to fine.

7 months later, we decided to have try again for second child but things turn out to be awful awful. i had my first miscarriage which i didnt realized until i went for ultrasound. i was told that my baby stopped growing around 6 weeks and i was supposed to be at 11 weeks. i was so shocked and didnt know if that was even possible. having a miscarriage without any symptoms.  3 months ago my husband and i start trying again,  knowing that chances having another miscarriage could happen, and i decided if i DID get pregnant i wouldnt tell my family.

i found out on April fool's day that i am pregnant again, i was so happy and called my husband and i told him. i even called one of my friend and told him that this isnt april fool's joke.  i went to get my HCG level check on friday and sunday. on monday my doc called said the level is raising normal and come back in 2 weeks for my prenatal visit.   well i didnt have a chance visit prenatal visit cuz i had another miscarriage.
been married 3 years and had 1 child and 2 miscarriages. we hope to get pregnant again very soon and hope for the best.

let hope that 3rd time is a charm

I have had 2 miscarraiges within a 2 month period .. the first was @ 10 weeks.. i didnt find out i mc until i thought i was 4 months.. when checked the baby was only @ 10 weeks and no heart rate.. that was my 1st time trying with my husband.. it was so emotional .. i think about it everyday and still cry alot.. i tryed again 2 weeks after the 1st mc ( i had a DNC) and was pregnant exactly 2 weeks after the mc.. but the baby lived until only 7 weeks.. so sad! i am trying again right now, but are so impatient.. its been 7 months since my 1st mc.. i would have been giving birth in 2 weeks.. as the day approaches it makes me sadder that i still havent gotten pregnant with a healthy child. one thing i can never understand: ppl have babys everyday that dont want them, give them up, leave them in dumpsters, or kill them ... and to someone that wants to give their child a good life and take care of and build a family with has the unlucky side..women get pregnant everyday that dont want them and have healthy children..
But i havent had the chance to be called mom yet! something i will never understand..

I conceived on Sept15, 2007 then lost my baby on Oct 15, 2007.  We have been planning to have our third child since Sept 1st, 2007. I became pregnant with my 11 yr old and 8 yr old quickly after planning there birth. I'm 37 and my hubby is 43.  I've been sad, angry, mad, angry, sad, angry all week.  Now I'm focused on my next baby.  I want to get pregnant right away. Not to cover up the loss of October baby, but to have another. I need a baby in my arms.  I know I'm blessed with two wonderful kids, a girl and boy, but they are growing up so fast. I feel at my age and experience I can enjoy another child and savor the experience. My kids are so anxious for me to have another too.
I'm going to find out this week if I can begin conceiving next week. I'v read some women try after bleeding of miscarriage stops.  Some doctors say wait.  I can't wait unless I have to do to my health.
I know I have not any questions. I've read and read everywhere on the net. I've been quiet then angry with my family. I've avoided all contact with others, ie: Cheerleeding, football moms.  I am sad to think and know I have to tell them I lost the baby.  But time has helped--a ---little. ------------------------
To all that have miscarraired, I believe a miscarraige is God's way of helping us end a development problem our baby had in the womb. God has the baby pass so we as mothers do not have to make that decision later in pregnancy.  Like we could; I know, but I believe God works this way to protect us and our children.  Perhaps the baby would have died later in delivery or after birth.  Maybe; even though it is hard to loose a baby eary in pregancy, It probably is much harder to loose it later or after alive.  I'm not sooo religious, I'm just trying to find answers.  I hope I've helped someone wile I have been vamping.  It has helped me too.  I'ts been devistation to lose my baby; but If you want to be a mother, If your healthy, I'd say keep trying.  It will be scary, keep yourself checked out by dr.  If you miscarry again, if you have the heart, try again!!!  Children are what we live for.    Love Lisa

I had a miscarriage on Labor Day weekend this year, I was about 6-7 weeks preg.  I am now preg again approaching my 8wk.  I started spotting on Tues.  It is becoming heavier but only when I have a bowel movement.  I know there is nothing that can be done to stop a miscarriage at this time but is this normal.  I had an internal ultra sound last nite, the baby is 6cm long and the heart rate is 139 bpm, so far everything is normal but the bleeding.  Any advice...........

I just had a miscarriage on October 17th I was 17 weeks.  I want to conceive as soon as possible. But obviously doctors recommend 3 months. Does it really hurt to get pregnant that soon.

No thats actually not true. Anytime your HCG levels drop below 5 you will ovulate. I just went through an early miscarraige, only 16 ML hormones to start then dropped to 4. My dr said that is a "none pregnancy" level. Once your numbers drop below 5 you are good to go again!

You said that you had an hcg level of 2 just the other day.  Well, I believe that as long as you have ANY hcg in your system then you won't ovulate to become pg again.

Your hcg has to return completely to zero before your body will resume normal ovulation/period functions.

Ok, the miscarriage was Oct 3 through like the 5th before the bleeding stopped. We have been having unprotected sex basically everyday thinking we were still pregnant unitl the other day when we found out the hcg level was 2. Could I have messed up and gotten pregnant again or does the two weeks have to go by first?

So anything before the two weeks should have me in the clear, right?

Hi, I answered your question under the other post like this:

Yes, you can.

The reason being that your body might ovulate about 2 weeks after the m/c, just as if the m/c was your period. So then you'd be waiting for a period about 4 weeks after the m/c but it never shows up because you ovulated and got pg. It's actually happens a lot - getting pg immediately after a m/c.

Good luck!
