Prolapsed uterus in young woman?

I'm 21 years old, I've never had sex (so I've never given birth), and for the past 4 or so years, I've been urinating a lot. For example, today, I went to the bathroom four times in two hours, and I had not had anything to drink yet. I rarely feel that I don't have to go. I have regular periods and am healthy/thin. What worries me, though, is that I have a bulge of flesh protruding from inside my vagina, but I'm not sure if that's my hymen or not. This causes me to not be able to put tampons in, and I definitely can't have sex because of it. I'm going to make an my first gyno appointment tomorrow, but I was wondering what anyone here thinks about this. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
