Redness on vagina help

I've had a very bad experience after having a uti I had severe symptoms where my vaguna would flare up and it would be very red and swollen. I went to three doctors to which they all said it was yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis. I recently went to the urologist because my pain was so intense, I thought it was stds but having so many tests done and pelvic exams doctors should of found something already if it would of been something else. Anyways the urologist told me I had  cystitis and that when I eat specific foods the nerves connected to my vagina make it hurt. She gave me elmiron and the symptoms have improved. I've been through hell with this since November with no answers from my gynecologist and family doctor. I been depressed and now I'm taking antidepressants and waiting for my appointment to have a cythoscopy. I'm just scared that they aren't going to find anytbing. I also very paranoid I had a bump almost like an ingrown hair by my vagina and butt, it's almost in the middle. It doesn't hurt and I've had it for a long time. Anyway, anyone else here had this problem? I just recently started having sex and I regret it now I been so miserable. Thanks for any feedback
