STOPPING MY PERIOD
HOW CAN I STOP MY PERIOD, IF I HAVENT STARTED TAKING THE BIRTH CONTROL PILL YET? MY WEDDING DAY IS FAST APPROACHING & MY PERIOD IS DUE RIGHT ABOUT THE SAME TIME.
Hey ppl I need help it my honeymoon 2mrw and I got periods 2day n need home remedies thatll 100% work coz I'm eating lemons bt cnt seem 2 see a difference plz help me anyone

do not worry about your spelling...its fine and comprehendable (is that a word?) anyway, i knew what you meant with the watermelon. i think vodkagirl is actually a very young girl who just wrote like a teen would write in school passing a note. i dont think she is non-english speaking. the "text" was just different as opposed to someone who is. i could be wrong...have been before! look at me, i never use proper punctuation. see how rowdy i can be? LOL!
at least there is a lot more room for the origional posters feedback. thats why medhelp allows so many threads.....we can get side tracked on occassion!

Are you suggesting "VodkaWoman" and "Sliga" are the same person? If so then that is strange since "Sliga" has responded to "VodkaWoman's" previous posts.

As far as the watermelon thing, doesn't sound too authentic to me.
The only way to "miss" your period is to start your birth control pills (right away if possible) and don't take the placebo pills, which are the ones at the end of your pill cycle. Instead of taking those, go directly to another pill-pack. This is not advisable to do all the time, but docs will tell you it is okay on occassion. Scary, though, that you haven't tried the pills yet. You need to start them, because some pills can have side effects, and you don't want to be sick around your wedding.
Also, I need to clarify this--do you think that the longer you take the pill, the harder it will be to become pg? If so, that is not the case. (You said something about not starting them until the month of your wedding b/c you wanted to get pg right away). You can get pg as soon as you quit taking the pill. You just need to wait 3 months or so for your body to regulate itself.

When you try to manually skip your period with pills, you do run the risk of having breakthrough bleeding. Just be prepared for that. :-)

Just wanted to say with the watermelon thing I said from the beggining not healthy ! =D it was just an idea that I used to do when I was younger and it works! but not advising to use it!

Congrats on the wedding!! =) I can't really give much advice here! like the other posts said you have to give sometime for the pill to have affects...and hope you don't get many symotoms from it! (I know I did!) ans since you're hoping to get pg right away! don't wanna mess with your body! =/ sorry I know not much help.
